After completing a master’s degree in Food Science. Lance went on to work for some of the country’s top food companies including Torani, Bolthouse Farms, Campbell’s Soup, and Eat Smart. He specializes in all things beverage including beer, wine, juices, teas, protein drinks, energy drinks, dry mixes, coffee RTDs and more.

We’ll review your product and provide you with a list of potential matches. Copack Network will negotiate the contract on your behalf and supervise the first production run. We can also manage the relationship with the copacker throughout the lifetime of the product. This includes troubleshooting any processing or quality issues and we’ll also handle any negotiations that might pop up.
Every industry has its own lingo and the food industry is no exception. Below is a list of the most common terms and acronyms.
Copacker, contract manufacturer, co-manufacturer, coman, co-man, co-packer are all synonymous terms for a company that manufacturers products for another company to be sold under their brand.
Hot Fill – Pasteurization process where the product is filled hot into a heat stable package
RTD – Ready to Drink
HACCP – Hazard analysis critical control plan
GMP – Good manufacturing processes
